OUR HISTORY

Malden Golf Club is perfectly situated in New Malden, Surrey — just 10 miles southwest of central London. With excellent transport links via the A3 and direct rail connections from New Malden station, we’re easily accessible from nearby areas including Kingston, Surbiton, and Wimbledon. Our location is ideal for golfers living south of the city, with convenient access from Putney, Clapham, Raynes Park, Earlsfield, and beyond.

Set within 120 acres of mature parkland, our picturesque course offers a peaceful retreat from city life. Opened in 1926, the course has been carefully enhanced over the years, while preserving the original charm and character of its design.

Before or after your round, relax in our welcoming clubhouse, where you’ll find comfortable surroundings, delicious catering, and views across the beautiful course.

On behalf of the members, we are delighted to welcome you to Malden Golf Club (MGC) and hope you will have a long, fulfilling, and enjoyable membership at MGC. MGC has been established for many years and has a tradition of friendliness, inclusiveness, and fun. We have an excellent and ever-improving golf course as well as a very active membership enjoying both the golf and social events we host throughout the year.
 
You will be able to readily join in with a number of golf events and knockouts as well as regular daily roll-ups throughout the week and weekends. Please check on the rules of entry and if in any doubt contact our General Manager, Clint Whittaker or our head professional Ben Tebbs.
 
The calendar is extremely busy, so we suggest you familiarise yourself with the annual events both golfing and social - all readily available on our Clubnet and associated Apps along with a host of club information and the history of the club. We have both been members for many years and believe MGC is a wonderful place for members and their guests to enjoy the facilities and events throughout the year.  We hope you will embrace our club as we have and enjoy many happy years as a Malden member.
